There is Willys CJ2-3A hood installed which is also incorrect to the Ford GPW Jeep. The windshield frame is long gone as are the front seats, rear seat, gas tank and original gauges. The OEM rear shackles have been replaced by custom straight brace, (not stock shackles) to the springs. The drive-line is gone down to the axles. You've got sheet metal work there at those locations, but the tub itself is definitely restorable and largely rust-free. The GPW tub, (embossed tool bin lids and data plates) has been cut at the fire wall for the V-8 as well as a rectangular cut-out for some kind of vent in the front cowl. The front square cross member has been cut, and the 9-slot Ford front grill internal shroud has been cut. The Bad: This jeep was previously modified for a 283 V-8 motor. Gun turret mount is on the frame, and in the tub as designed. The Ford GPW you see pictured is being sold with my name, address and phone number on the bill of sale. Serial numbers have been deliberately blacked out in the photo and are not going to be released over the phone. 5-digit Serial number is clear and intact. Data plates are all original, clear and legible. Date of Manufacture in '42 on the data plate. This is a bonified, real-deal WWII Veteran.
